Santa Portraits
The
Christmas season is all about family traditions - continuing old ones
and starting new ones. Whether visiting Santa is a first time, or a
continuing tradition, it is important to make it memorable and a fun
time. Swansons offers a real genuine Santa experience that
is fun for kids and adults of all ages.
Santa
sets up shop at Swansons Nursery on Saturdays and Sundays from 10
am to 2 pm from November 12th through December 11th. Professional
portrait photos are available on site from Bonjour
Photography.

We
are pleased to offer this unique opportunity of Santa photos for the
third year now, as Bonjour Photography provided the Santa photography
at the Woodland Park Zoo for many years previously and many families
have continued their tradition of visiting him annually. Photo options
start at $15.99; you're also welcome to bring your own camera.
The
decor of the backdrop this year is an interior setting that works well
with vibrant reds and bright whites. Brahm the photographer is great
with kids in getting them to smile and look at the camera. Youi are
also welcome to take as many pictures with your own camera too! Santa
is very patient and encourages your to get the best picture that you
want.
All the while Santa is visiting with each child and asking what they
would like for Christmas and reminding them to be good and not to forget
to leave some treats on Christmas eve. Each child receives a candy
cane, a great experience, and memory of their time with Santa.
For
the perfect weekend holiday experience, take the family to have breakfast
at Alexa's
Garden Cafe and then meet Dasher & Blitzen, Santa's live
Reindeer and then the jolly old elf himself. You can also
find his reindeer here everyday, and special photo opportunities with
one of his elves and
"Jingle" the Reindeer in our sleigh on selected weekends. Additionally,
there are coloring sheets for the kids, and spiced cider refreshments
on the weekends. Be sure to take home a souvenir button celebrating
the "Reindeer
Festival 2011" or a "Curley
the camel and Moe"
button, cost is a donation to Northwest Harvest and the Seattle
Humane Society.
While
you are here you can also pick out your fresh locally grown Christmas
tree, poinsettias and stroll through our Holiday Shoppe filled with
inspiration and unique decorations. And before you go don't miss
the holiday model train display - there are lots of fun family activities
to take in during the Holidays at Swansons.
