Preparing Your Edible Garden for Winter with Hilary Dahl

Fall is a perfect time of year to invest in the long-term health of your annual and perennial vegetable gardens. Taking the time to properly clean up your garden and prepare it for the winter months will pay off in a big way when it comes time to plant in the spring. In this seminar, we'll discuss the importance of testing and adjusting your vegetable garden soil pH, adding compost to the fall garden, cover cropping, and how to decide what to clear from your garden and what to let overwinter. We'll also briefly review the timing for pruning perennial herbs, vegetables, berries and fruit trees.

Please register to save your seat at this free seminar. Walk-ins are welcome if there are open seats at the start of the seminar.
